Tani Morinari (谷衛成)

Morinari TANI (1582 - January 19, 1627) was the successor of Yamaga Domain, Tanba Province. He was the first son of Moritomo TANI, the first lord of the domain. His mother was from the Kinoshita clan. His lawful wife was a daughter of Hidemasa HORI.
His children were a daughter (lawful wife of Nagashige FUJIKAKE), a daughter (wife of YAMANA so-and-so), a daughter (lawful wife of Moritoshi TANI), and a daughter (wife of Naomasa TAKEBE.)
His common name was Kuranosuke.

Morinari TANI was born as the legitimate son of Moritomo TANI, however, he died in 1626 at the age of 45 without inheriting the reigns of the family. Instead, the fourth son Morimasa TANI became the legitimate child and later succeeded the reigns of the family. The third daughter of Morinari was the lawful wife of Moritoshi, the legitimate son of Morimasa, and a real mother of Morihiro TANI, the third lord of the domain.
